Pay as You Go vs Fixed Price Maintenance: Which is right for your fleet?


At GXT, we want to make sure you don’t pay over the odds for vehicle maintenance. Many contract hire providers only offer fixed price maintenance plans. This means that newer fleets may be paying out during a period where the vehicle needs little to no work. So, we developed a Pay as You Go Maintenance Management service in addition to our Fixed Price offering. This means that fleets only need to pay for the services they actually need. Whether you choose Fixed Price or PAYG Maintenance through GXT, you will get consistency of service across all vehicles.

 

How it works

Fixed Price Maintenance


  • Routine servicing and maintenance for the duration of the contract.
  • Mechanical repairs due to fair wear and tear, including batteries and exhausts.
  • MOT tests (if applicable) and service booking
  • Tyre repair and/or like-for-like replacement (exclusions apply)
  • Breakdown assistance (dependent upon finance provider)
  • Vehicle collection and delivery (where available)

Pay as You Go Maintenance

  • Avoid paying high maintenance costs on a vehicle that needs little to no maintenance
  • Only pay for the fleet maintenance services you actually need
  • No monthly fixed fee
  • Paying only for what you need can lead to considerable savings.
